Where the Elite Meet to Beat

BDSM Events

This is where you will find events reasonably local to the Twin Cities, MN, USA neighborhood, excepting those that are regularly-scheduled TIES meetings, which can be found in TIES Meetings, the button to the left.

For a calendar of all local events over the next several months, please see the new TIES BDSM Events Calendar - it has all of the events we've heard of, and has several nifty features. Other organizations are encouraged to link directly to it, and anyone with an event they'd like to see listed there should email details to the TIES mailbox.

For further information, may we suggest that you also check the event listings at Leather Journey

TIES PLayParties are currently on hold, until we find/repair a good space for hosting them. If you're curious, you can take a peek at the TIES PlayParty Rules.

Many community events are announced during the TIES Munch.

If you or your group has an event you'd like to see announced here, feel free to send all relevant information to the TIES webmaster, and it'll get posted here ASAP.

The St Cloud Lifestyles Group (SCG) meets the second Thursday of every month at 8:00 pm at Bear Creek in Waite Park. SCG is a diverse group that welcomes all newcomers and newbies. Our members range in age and experience level from the just starting young kinksters to Old Guard Lifestylers with everything in between. Our munches are strictly street wear, no play events. We have enjoyed play party since September '03 and invite any and all who are interested to come meet and munch with us soon. Please email to MzStix for further information.

The Newbie Munch is a monthly no-play, streetwear gathering held on the second Saturday of every month at 1pm. The location varies from month to month, but it is always held in a public space such as a restaurant, mall, or park. Attendance varies but averages between 15 and 30 people. It is designed for people who are completely new to BDSM, familiar with BDSM but new to a real life community, or even those familiar with BDSM communities, but new to this area. We also typically have several veterans of the local scene to help answer questions and with whom one can make contacts. We even invite those who have a limited familiarity with the local community and wish to expand their social circle. Announcements regarding the location and other specifics of the Newbie Munch can be found on the TIES list, heard at the TIES Munch, and other places, or else e-mail Count Vronsky at AllisonWondrland@yahoo.com for more details.

Whipsters holds an open singletail practice session on the third Wednesday of the month, from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at Crosby Lake Park in St. Paul. They gather at the picnic pavillion at the foot of the entrance road. There will be a grill in use, as well as a fire in the fireplace if someone brings wood, so feel free to bring something to grill and a potluck dish to share, if you like. Every session has a theme, and you can get more information by email request, or ask to join their mailing list by clicking here.

MSDB also hosts the Rochester Munch on the third Thursday. During the summer months, they meet at McMurphy's, 1201 Eastgate Drive SE, on Highway 14 East in Rochester. Street clothes only, no play allowed, 18 and older only, please. For further information, click on their name to visit their web site, or send them e-mail.
